Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Is Only $34 For PC, Physical Edition Drops To $40
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics Steam keys are on sale for $34 at Fanatical for the next few days. This is the lowest price we’ve seen for the recently released compilation of seven classic Marvel fighting games. PlayStation and Nintendo Switch users can get the physical edition for $40 (was $50) at GameStop. The PlayStation physical edition is for PS4 and PS5.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics Deals
At the time of writing this, the collection wasn’t on sale at Amazon, but we’d recommend checking to make sure, because Amazon frequently matches game deals at competing retailers.
Physical editions were packaged with an exclusive comic book at launch. While there’s still a chance you’ll get the comic book with your order now–the physical edition released November 22–it’s not guaranteed. However, you will get a different exclusive comic book if you preorder the recently announced Capcom Fighting Collection 2.

Similar to Capcom’s other retro compilations, the games are accompanied by a time capsule of extra content. You’ll get all the music from the original arcade releases, behind-the-scenes art, and some helpful gameplay assists like one-button combos if you’re new to these games.
The Marvel fighting games in the compilation haven’t been seen for quite some time on console. Each game is a showcase of ’90s fighting game magic, as Capcom’s collection of brawlers featured fast-paced action, fantastic pixel art character designs, and rock-solid gameplay designed to liberate coins from your pockets. The original cabinet focused on Marvel vs. Capcom 2, while the new one features X-Men instead. It is worth noting that the X-Men cabinet retails for $100 less than the original.
