November is traditionally one of the biggest months of the year for video game sales, but the No. 1 game of the month shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. According to the market research firm Circana–as provided by executive director Mat Piscatella on Bluesky—Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is once again on top of the list of the best-selling games of November in the US. The complete list of titles is below, but it may not necessarily reflect the full picture of each game’s domestic sales. Digital sales for a few titles were not included.
It was somewhat surprising to see a surge in EA sports titles–with Madden NFL 25, EA Sports FC 25, and EA Sports College Football 25 coming right behind Black Ops 6 on the list. Undisputed fell from No. 4 to No. 16, while Take-Two’s NBA 2K25 made a very strong showing by jumping up from No. 17 last month to No. 9 this month.
There were only three new releases on this month’s list, with Nintendo’s Mario & Luigi: Brothership debuting at No. 7, while the remake of Dragon Quest 3 came in 12th place, and EA’s My Sims: Cozy Bundle debuted at 19.
Although Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics was not a new release in November, it broke into the top 20 with its fan-favorite fighting games, many of which haven’t been on consoles for decades. That’s hopefully a good sign for more of these classic collections from Capcom.
From Software’s Elden Ring was heavily discounted for Black Friday, but it didn’t make the cut this month. However, it’s still No. 9 on the list of 2024’s best-selling games in the US so far.
