PSVR 2 PC Adapter Restocked At Amazon Ahead Of Christmas

The official PlayStation VR 2 PC Adapter is back in stock at Amazon for $60. The adapter has frequently been out of stock at retailers since its August launch, and PlayStation’s holiday deal on the PSVR 2–$349 for the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle–certainly hasn’t made it any easier to snag the accessory. With the adapter and the PSVR 2, you can access the SteamVR library on your PC.

You’ll need a bit more than the $60 adapter to connect your PSVR 2 to PC. A DisplayPort 1.4 cable and a Steam account are required. If you need a cable, you can pick up a braided 10-foot JSAUX DisplayPort cable for only $11.

You’ll also need a gaming PC that hits the following minimum specifications:

• Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit/Windows 11 64-bit
• Processor: Intel Core i5-7600 / AMD Ryzen 3 3100 (Zen 2 or later architecture is required)
• RAM/memory: 8 GB or more
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or later (Turing or later architecture is required) -NVIDIA RTX series-AMD Radeon RX 5500XT or later/AMD Radeon RX 6500XT or later
• DisplayPort: DisplayPort 1.4 (must have a standard DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort output port)
• USB: Direct connection only
• Bluetooth: Bluetooth 4.0 or later

Getting the headset working with your PC requires is pretty straightforward, as you’ll just need to connect the headset to your PC using the PSVR 2 PC Adapter, then download the PSVR 2 and SteamVR apps.
