Dying Light: The Beast Launch Times Revealed, Release Date Moved Up
Dying Light: The Beast is no longer releasing on September 19–it’s now coming one day sooner. Developer Techland said it’s moving the date forward by 24 hours, to September 18, to celebrate The Beast reaching 1 million in pre-orders. The studio also revealed the exact global launch times.
“This inspired us to push our boundaries and make the impossible possible,” the developer said about preorder numbers. Additionally, Techland said everyone who preorders will get an in-game reward, with details to be announced later.
“We pushed ourselves to make the impossible possible, and that’s why we’re releasing the game a little earlier. I can’t wait to see players’ reactions when they finally step into the world of The Beast,” Dying Light boss Tymon Smektała said.
The game will unlock simultaneously across PC and console, and you can see the launch times below.
The Beast was originally set to launch on August 22 before being delayed to September. It is a new standalone adventure that sees the return of Kyle Crane, the protagonist from the first game in the series. Hellbent on revenge after a decade of captivity and horrific genetic experimentation performed on him by a sinister figure known as the Baron, Crane eventually manages to break free from his prison.
