The Vesticrests come from an NPC named Eva, who’s trapped in a sub-zone called Weavenest Atla. Here’s a quick summary:
- The seven Crests that you obtain in the game have a limited number of slots for each type of tool/equipment.
- The Vesticrests, meanwhile, grant permanent slots–i.e. 1x blue and 1x yellow–which are always active regardless of the Crest that you’re using. This means you can equip even more support and utility tools, including the Compass, without worries.
- Note that Eva’s rewards are tied to the total number of Memory Lockets that you’ve found and used in the game. As such, be sure to expend Memory Lockets to unlock additional slots for your favorite Crest.
